Skagit on 12'-6" TFO

Any body using a skagit on a 12'-6", 5/6 weight TFO rod? If so what weight? Did you try different weight lines? How was the performance? With scandi lines different manufacturers line feel different when casting and can make a difference with the performance as you are now playing with a longer line, but since the skagit is so short does it make a difference what manufacturer is used?

I used a Beulah tonic 400 at 22 ft. I thought it done pretty well. I have a 450 but never tried in on that rod. The place I was fishing was a little tight, so I ended up using my switch.

Not much help but that is all I know.

What lines have you tried on that rod?
