I've been meaning to post some flies for a while now but a photo shoot is just not as fun as tying so here's one I wrapped up yesterday (cell phone pic, sorry)

I found myself on Mr. Howard's site and looking at his stuff I realized I have NEVER tied a mist, so here is my first attempt... As always I have to add something else so I used dyed red GP breast for the rear hackle, it also turns out all my good swan is dyed ugly colors so I made due with junk turkey. Any comments or critiques are appreciated!

Looks good to me. Barbs crunched so I'm guessing she's a fisher, which is awesome.

One of my favorites. glad you are getting out. any tugs lately?
had one good pull yesterday and a few trout. i had to go all the way to the top because it was chocolate milk everywhere else, i couldnt believe how clear the water was up by the lake though! i saw several bait guys picking up some fish and quite a few rollers so they are around for sure, just wasnt my day i guess

Nice tie Josh,

It's weird that I didn't back into your car somewhere a couple weeks back. I was right there and fishing up below the lake too. As you know I tried to reach you but that didn't go so well. I'll be watching the winter fishing down there via the Pages and might come back for another go.

Tht really just turned out to be a worst case scenario Ard, if you make it back I will most certainly get out with you! That sure would have made for a bonus to randomly bump in to you down here! I will keep you up to date on how I'm doing, especially when the big ones start showing a couple hours north (that magical place you also got the joy of fishing :))
Plan another trip my friend!
