A fly for a gentleman I met on the river this year who resides in the salmon capital of Asia, Thailand. If he likes it it will be sent over.

Bob, Not only could I NOT tie a fly like that, I'm not sure I could even imagine it. I believe your client will be thrilled. I have a dumb question and I hope you don't think I'm rude in asking - but do both sides look alike? I mean, you have those little subtending eyes at each section, probably a dozen slips in each wing segment... hard to imagine there's a mirror image on the other side. There's something whimsical in tying flies that fancy. One almost expects a phantasmagorical leviathan to run off with it at any moment. And oh yeah, with those colors, that dang piece of art would undoubtedly work to catch fish if one were insane enough to actually fish it. We need a hat-tip smilie because my hat's off to you.:whoa:

Thanks guys for the replies and yes its the same on the backside. By the way those eyes are from a Satyr tragopan.
