Considering a pair of these for the coldest months of the year. Not as my only waders but in addition to my G4Z waders. Looking for feedback on the fit, comfort and walking support of the boot and durability. I do a lot of bushwacking.
Man, all I really know is cold water. I'm quite happy with my Simms Exstream bootfoots, the muckboot version. I prefer them almost year-round to my Simms stockingfoots, for comfort, convience and warmth.Nice for sure, but a Cabelas duck hunter special would save you some coin for a very similar product.
That is the info I am looking for. Looks like there is enough good press out there on the bootfits to own a pair, but will have to lace up the boots on the G4z's to go for a hike. Thanks to all, looks like I will have both.If you're really bushwacking you don't want bootfoots. Very little support, a lot of foot slippage inside the boots. If you walk a lot, bushwack, you don't want bootfoots. I have those bootfoots but when I need to walk long and hard I wouldn't consider using them.
