We are hoping to put together a couple of display boxes of steelhead flies to raffle off at the Seattle Show. If we can get enough quality offerings, I would like to possibly have a winter-run dozen and a summer-run dozen. The flies would be nicely displayed along with the pattern name and the name of the tyer. One member has also graciously offered to prepare a 5 fly collection of Glasso styled spey flies. The proceeds from these raffles will go towards a dedicated server to support the site.

So far, I have commitments from around a half dozen artisans of hook and feather. I am posting here a request for further submissions to the cause. If you would like to donate a fly or possibly two, let me know via pm or e-mail and I will get you on the list.

I anticipate that there will be more flies donated than can be displayed in two boxes. Should this happen, some will be displayed in a grand prize display case, and all of the others we receive in additional fly boxes.

In any case, any and all contributions will be appreciated and put to good use.

Thanks in advance!

That would be great. Only need one or two flies, whatever you think are your best patterns.

You can send to:

Bringing this back to the top. So far we have some great flies coming but are short of the amount to have 2 display boxes. Let me know if you are interested.

The date for the show is February 22-23 but will need flies at least a week before hand to get the display work done.

I'll tie a fly that's been one of my most productive Gaspé flies and also caught the first Oregon steelhead it was shown to.

New Member - Count me in.

Sinktip,

I've got 3 flies that I could donate; two winters and one summer fly.

The two winters are the same tie in two different colors. The other is a summer run fly that I concocted this October for the Grand Ronde.

I'll box them up and send them on their way.

Thanks,

Sorry forgot to mention

I have donated 3 of each of the Psuedo Speys for the Seattle show, one of each color. The Two tubes can go where ever you would like in the show...perhaps in the first and second raffle

regards.....Jake

Dana- I am on night shift right now so I will have them in the mail to you on Monday or Tuesday.
