Just read this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is written by Mari Hill Harpur and is about the history and future of her families fishing camp on the St. John river, Quebec. You won't learn practical bits on how to fish for Atlantics. But you will learn on what private fishing camps were like back in the days. Fascinating and depressing at the same time. Fascinating as to what fishing back then was like, especially some of the catch rates. Depressing as to how fortuned people could just buy a resource like that; a world I would never have been and never will be part of. I highly suggest this read to anyone passionate about Atlantic salmon fishing.
