There is a difference: the brown is a slower blank, the green is noticeably faster. I guess you could call the brown a medium or traditional action, and the green medium-fast or more of a European action.
One's brown, the other's green. Well, that's Sage's story on the 6126 and they've stuck to it for awhile now unless there's a recent tune change.
I've read many comments suggesting otherwise but when given an opportunity to compare the green rod to my brown, I couldn't feel what others we're going on about. If there's a difference I suspect it's minor and wouldn't suggest you get hung up over the color. Good luck, John
