I recently procured a Sage RPL 8113 with the 2 handed grips. Wondering if anyone else fishes or owns one, and what lines they toss on it. I was planning on using a 9wt Rio Clouser for indicator fishing. Although I have yet to recieve the rod and, that is more of just a place to start. As for a sinking line I am up in the air on it. If anybody would like to part ways with one I wouldn't mind having a back up rod.

I've fished that rod for about 10 years or so. I have used a windcutter 7-8-9 for the last couple. For most of its life, I just fished it single handed. For years, I used a WF/S Steelhead taper, 8 Wt. Still use the rod periodically , it's an old friend.

a friend of mine has had one for years which he uese with the 7/8/9 wc. it is a nice little rod but tends to bog down with a heavy leader and big fly, great for a dry line though.
