Thinking of buying another rod and replacing my z axis 8134 with a Sage One 8126.
Has anybody ever compared or know the differences between the
8126 and the 8136 Sage One rods?
Thanks
I tried them both..tried all the ONE's...2 years ago..?. Worked them a bunch at Sandy Clave! I picked the 8116 and the 5116 and love them! I like the shorter rods!
I also have spent some time with the Method 8 and it is also very impressive!
I have the 8126 sage one. It Is an amazing rod. Incredibly light and easy to use. I guess the longer rod has more control due to its length and also weight. Depends what you will use it for
I should have elaborated a bit with my initial post.
I use the rod mainly on the River Stamp, Vancouver Island and as a rule I don't need more than about 7 pulls of running line to reach fish.
The rod will only be used for springs as my go to rod for coho is a 6wt Beulah
Spey rod.
Although both rods will reach that distance what I don't want is something that might be short and sturdy as opposed to long and supple.
That's why I was interested in people's comments on the rods.
Once again, thanks.
