Looking for a little info on the type of lines that will fit on these reels. Most likely will be putting long lines on them and would like to know there true capacity.
the 3500 will hold a w/c 7/8/9 with around 100 yds of backing and even that's a little tight. i think a long belly of any weight would be tough. i don't know first hand on the 3600.
I am selling my 3500D and I just took off an Airlfow 8/9 Delta Long belly with 300 yards of SA GEL SPUN backing. I was SHOCKED I could get that much on it.
bump, anyone? I can get the 3500D series at good pricing but not 3600's which would be slam dunk for fitting line etc, .....wondering if anyone else has any feedback on this item?
Black Francis has it right on. I have a 3500 with a 7/8/9 WC and enough backing for a Clearwater "B" run. I am not sure of the backing amount but that reel has landed many fish.
