I am looking for line diameters of SA Short Head speys measured 18-20' from the tip. Any measurements that individuals can provide would be helpful. I am most interested in 6/7, 7/8, 8/9 lines.

This to help me answer the question: what is the heaviest 10' tip that can be tossed with the lightest SA lines? I want to toss 10' of LC-13 / T-14.

Thanks!

Now I owe you 2 answers....

I haven't been able to locate my mic., but will provide the 6/7 & 7/8 measurements when I find it (in addition to the other data I owe you).

Without measuring, I will comment that even the 6/7 is capable of turning over 10' of T-14.

same here, the 7/8 turns over 6 ft of t-14 with a 2" copper tube. without the heavily weighted fly it casts easily. i have used up to 10 ft on the 7/8. sorry i don't have a micrometer.
