Here is a staple CB Atlantic fly that I am adding to my box that is headed to Oregon, Based on the colours and profile of this fly I am hoping it has some love on the west coast. It was developed for the Magaree by a local tier Nip Ross.

Here is the Pool also named after Nip on the Magaree where many an Atlantic was fooled by this offering

Really funny actually It was the first Fly I ever Tied and it was exactly five years ago to date.

Here is the First Fly off my Vise

Beautiful, Wayne! Great finish on that head.

Love the old fly photo. We have all come a long way, haven't we?

Great post,

Fly is looking good, really like the color combo and the wing. If I may, the tip, tag, and tail are looking a little out of place for my eye. The tip is a bit long and the tail is set between the tip and the tag. That is, if you were tying a tip, yellow tag and crest tail. If the yellow is part of the body, the rib should start at the tail joint, not at the joint between the yellow and red. Just me, your hook, your rules.
