More info

I'll add to Link's message this:

I'll be bringing for try-out casting all three of Tim Rajeff's new two-tip, two-action ECHO2 two handed Scandinavian rods, including the 12ft 4in, #7; the 12ft 6in, #8; and the 12ft 6in, #9. I'll also have all four of the new Airflo Skagit heads - 6/7, 7/8, 8/9 and 9/10 - on reels for tryout, and the new Airflo Delta line (8/9) on reel for tryout, as well as the earlier (but still available at many shops) Delta and Delta Long spey lines, mounted up and ready to cast. Some of these lines are looped or spliced to what I think is the very best running/shooting line I have ever cast, the Airflo Non-Stretch Miracle Braid running line. But don't take my word for it, come try it out yourself.

I'll have ALL the current Snowbee spey rods - 12ft #6/7 XS-P Torridge and the 12ft 6in 7/8 XS-P Tamar, and the 13ft #8/9, 14ft #9/10, 15ft #10/11 (the rod so favorably reviewed by Dana and Sean in the Spey Pages rod reviews) and the 16ft #11/12 :whoa: XS-P Salmon Spey rods. I'll also have several of the Snowbee reels, including a couple of the big, spey sized large arbor XS L/A 1112 Salmon/Saltwater reels, all mounted with the appropriate Snowbee lines, from the Snowbee Scandinavian-Spey to the 1D (51ft head), 2D (62ft head) and 3D (73ft head) lines, sized for casting on the various Snowbee (or other manufacturer's) spey rods.

I'll also have some of the Snowbee single hand rods and reels with Snowbee lines, for casting, and some of Tim Rajeff's Echo and Echo2 two-tip, two-action single hand rods and Echo reels with the new Airflo Ridgline and Sixth Sense lines for tryout casting.

Lots of goodies and big boy toys to play with.

I'll be using some of this stuff to demonstrate my snap-v cast, as well as the snap-t and circle-c casts, their relationship to one another, and how to use them effectively in different situations.

Hope you all can make it, should be fun (and I hear the steelhead are running!).

update

Captn. Kirk says his presentation will be on casting faults, how to recognize them and how to correct them. He will also do a demonstration of the spiral spey.
The steelhead are starting to pour into the area. So are the fishermen. I've never seen so many spey rods on the river.
