I have a older Regal vise- I have seen on ebay a few of the Regals with an attachment that turns them into a rotary devise- the attachment looks like it either goes over the vertical rod from the base or it replaces it. It has a lever and holding part that the head/jaws goes into-
Look Like a aftermarket device
Any one know where these might be found?
thanks

I assume you are talking about the Revolution

you can't use your medallion parts to make a true rotary, as the head/jaws have a big counterbalance weight to ensure the vise keeps spinning

It was called the "Vise Devise". The last time I remember it being advertised was in the late 90's. I believe that there was a legal problem and the were told to cease and desist.
That devise looks exactly like the one they sell now as the rotary. It just mounted into the back of the vise.
