Hey Jonny{UTAH}...

Welcome to the forum. If you are new with two handers and spey casting I recommend you follow Simon's (Rio) line list. For your rod he recommends a 9/10/11 WindCutter (650 grns @ 54.5') or a 9/10 MidSpey (725 grns @ 65'). There has been many discussions about which head length is best to learn with. I like the shorter length. I would also buy the floating model. After you learn to cast it is a simple matter to chop the line and loop it should you wish to fish sink tips. There are some spey casters along the Wasatch Front. Maybe you can hook up with one for some instruction.
