First of all I want to say that I am responding to the posting that insulted my friend at the Red Shed. Number one, if you feel that you were cut a bad deal GET OVER IT!!! Here is a man that is a legend to the Clearwater, willing to host free speyclaves each year and encourage all to attend. He has given me such great deals in the past on my spey rod and even had Tracy give me a free two hour lesson on how do become a Jedi master. I plan on buying 3T&T rods/Ross Big Canyon combos this year to increase my arsenal of Steelhead weaponry and will only make the purchase from THE RSFS. His friendly customer service and willingness to let anyone test drive a rod on the water, is far superior than any dealer in the region, either in Lewiston, Spokane or Boise. If it wasn't for the local and online financial support by people like you and I, he could not support a great two handed fly shop in a town the size of Peck, Idaho.

I don't know why all you guys are going on about Mike. To my mind, he is a pretty shady character. First off, he comes from the moral wasteland of north-central Idaho. His business practices are suspect! He has actually sent me things I never even asked for, let alone ordered. Then there is his propensity to be seen around skinny "shanks" dressed in Hotpants and even worse, he likes hanging out with jailbait. Not sure why everyone is making this guy out to be a saint. Heck, he even hangs out around casinos. This man has problems!

Mike turned me on to Hot Pants and Jail Bait. I go out with them when nobody's around and I can try to feed a line to a little beauty.

What can I say, I've bought more rods and lines from him than any other source, and I'm pretty picky. The cream always rises to the top, and the proof is in the posts.

I make a call, order a cool rod tube (Sporttube Guide Case Series#1 ) for my Speys; he ships it right away, it arrives in a couple of days, checks later to make sure everything is great--what terrible customer service! :chuckle:

Plus the fact that RedShed is a longtime supporter of the Speypages makes them even more suspect!
