Here are some flies I have been working on lately. They are not completely original (are any flies original these days), but I have taken ideas and techniques from several flies and thrown in a few of my own. Tomorrow I am going to hit the river and give them a try, still looking for my first steelhead of 2015.

I apologize for the quality of the pictures, just working with available technology.

Blue one if the water is low and clear.

Red one with coloured water.

Either way, both are winners. Close your eyes as they move through the swing, your finger tips will tell you if you have a tug..
