Has any one fished the Qualicum area on Vancouver Island? We're planning a trip there next month and I'm wondering if it'd be worthwhile to bring along my flyfishing gear.

I noticed there're several rivers and hatcheries in the area:

Little Qualicum River & Hatchery
Big Qualicum River & Hatchery
Englishman River

Andy,

A very historic site from a fly fishing point of view. It was on the Little Qualicum river in 1914 that General Noel Money caught his first steelhead. Take your tackle.
