Thanks Nate. That steelhead was taken yesterday, black Friday. I believe it was another steelhead that came up for the fly a couple times and missed a few minutes before. Water temp was 46.8*, air was 34*. Yes it has been cooler, sooner around here too. The last one I got prior to this one was mid Nov. I have still raised steelhead on November mornings with ice in my guides. Skating dries in November is hopeless, that's probably why I like it!Very nice Todd! I dig that fly. Was that fish taken recently? My last dry fly steelhead was in early November. It seems the water cooled earlier this year in my neck of the woods. Still hoping for more action on top!

Thanks Mike. It's been fun experimenting with all natural materials this fall. I've been in recovery from foam addiction thanks to discovering that this bomber variant stays up well and is highly visible as well.No doubt in my mind that pattern would work here at home too !!
I really dig your patterns Todd <img src="http://www.speypages.com/speyclave/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smilie" class="inlineimg" />

Thanks Alan!Absolutely top notch looking fly! As always.
Thanks man, all natural by your influence...Yummy stuff, Todd!
Sounds like you talking about one plate lunch! Which island you from?Looks ono-licious made from scratch with all natural ingredients.
I'll take one large to-go!
Thanks Rich, I will be trying for winters with this fly, not logical eh?I believe that would float through a Class III run. I keep thinking of steelhead poppers - cork is natural doncha know. Nice late-season fish. I'm looking forward to winters.
