I'm curious as to the performance of this rod vs. some of the other speys on the market. For instance, is this a traditional action or more of the faster, Euro action? Similar to the Sage traditionals speys or those by T & T?

The Powell 2-handers are more like the newer Sage Euro action rods than the T&T's. In other words, they are a moderate-action rod, not fast-action. They have a nice progressive action and have a butt that does not wimp out on long casts. The T&T is a lot faster than the Powell.
