May I see a little bit of a closer reference or perhaps a pic up close as to the length of the fur in MMs, please? Looks to be a mid length piece; but Im nervous about buying a used rug. Thank You very much!

Import or export requires a permit. Sale within the United States legal if polar bear is “pre-Act” under the MMPA (acquired before 1972) or is a product purchased within the United States that qualifies as an authentic Alaskan Native handicraft. Examples: Taxidermied trophies, rugs, and fur clothing.

Bear Skin Rugs Officially Banned In US
This ban first came into effect when the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) listed polar bears as threatened under the Endangered Species Act in May of 2008.

Not trying to be a killjoy but importing polar bear into the US seems kind iffy. Ive been using Marc Pettijean synthetic polar bear for a few years and the fish don't seem to care. Nor do the Feds.
