After playing around with bucktail last few days I decided
To make an Intruder out of it. Hence the "po-boy intruder"
Looks great in water.

-55mm shank
-slick shooter hook loop
Tail -chartreuse bucktail tied reverse and fold backwards
-black marabou
-yellow and white lady Amherst
Body -chartreuse polar bear
-silver rib
-black schlappen
Head - same as tail with flash and jungle cock

Very Nice! I think you really have something there! Lots of sil and not much weight.. Good Job! I think I will have to steel that!!

Looks great and I'm sure holds a really nice profile in the water however with all that bucktail I would think it's not going to want to sink very quickly.

With Chinook in mind your normally going to want to get it down and keep it down in their faces to increase your hookups

Po-boy

Thanks for feedback.. It could be a bit thick but it also is a bit of an illusion, I will heed the advice and thin it down though.
I decided against putting any weight into it and was going to rely
On the shank and hook primarily and then add bullet weight to fine tune depth.
I'm still having a hard time staying out of the rocks and losing hooks. Hopefully
This will help me a bit. Yet to try but I've read a bit about it and it seams to be sensible
As long as I don't scalp myself

This is a great way to allow yourself to fish the same fly through ALL different depths by just changing out a bullet weight
