Hello All!

I have been fishing one-handed rods for many years, primarily for trout. Of late, I have become increasingly interested in chasing anadromous species and have started to read and learn a lot about spey-casting and swinging flies. My first lesson with a two-handed rod was a few weeks ago and I am looking to get a full setup ASAP (I will post about this in the rod forum). I am super stoked to explore this "new-to-me" method of tossing feathers!

Corvallis, Oregon is my home and I consider my home waters to be the rivers of Central Oregon as I have fished them more than any other. I imagine this will gradually change as I start to target more steelhead and spend more time on this side of the mountains (with the exception of the Deschutes :grin2:). I have officially turned to the dark side and I thank you all in advance for your wisdom and support as I take the plunge!
