Not since Grant's march to the sea which way waste to Richmond and Atlanta has an American city been destroyed. I hope that all of your friends and family are safe. We have friends who have one side of the family residing in New Orleans, we hope that they make contact and that everyone is safe.

I echo your sentiments. N'awlins is a city near and dear to me and one where my wife and I try to get for a few days every couple of years. We also have friends there and seeing the devastation is hard to take.
