Northern Wisconsin - Madeline Island- Bois Brule

I'll be on/around Madeline Island the second week of June this year. Was wondering if the Bois Brule and other rivers in the vicinity of the Madeline Island are swingable trout waters at that time (I think the steelhead activity is gone by then?). I can also single-hand dry fly if necessary, but since this is spey pages...

I grew up on the Brule. There will be browns...........streamers or soft hackles. Swinging works. Check in with local shops about upper river conditions and night fishing opportunities. They will slam skated flies(caddis moth crane fly or mouse patterns)in the right conditions.It's hit and miss but every so often......Do some googlin on the interweb before you go...lots of good info out there.
