> Directions to Sewalls Falls: Sewalls Falls Multi-recreational Area is located on the Merrimack River in the northern part of Concord. From downtown Concord, travel north on Main Street and continue on North State Street (Route 3). Bear right at the first fork onto Sewalls Falls Road, passing the Beaver Meadow School on the right. At a second fork near the Beaver Meadows Golf Course, bear right, staying on Sewalls Falls Road. On the right, watch for signs for the Sewalls Falls area, just before the bridge that crosses the Merrimack. From I-93, take Exit 15 West. At second set of lights, turn right (north) onto North State Street (Route 3). Continue with directions from downtown Concord (above).

Up to 8 people so far... please sign up if you can attend this. It's a lot harder to track attendance by word of mouth. Thanks!

Juro,

Hopefully you got my voicemail regarding places to meet up and eat (with a banquet room) after the event. If the Common Man did not work out then I can recommend more places if you let me know that you are looking for a place.

I wish I could be there but I will be on South Beach with Jeff B. I have a date with a cow or two.

Have fun,

Mike

Revised Agenda -

Digital camera is unavailable, we will extend hands-on work with people instead with the extra time.

If the main Sewalls Falls recreation area is too deep along the waters edge, we will move to a nearby spot with shallow banks. The spot is approx 2 miles downriver at the old dam site. Look for info on the information / area map station near rest room if you arrive after 10am and see no one flicking the long rods. Cell phone / instructions will be provided at that info station if we move. This alternate location is about 1.5 miles downriver. Get back on Sewalls Falls Rd, go away from the river to the west (away from 93) past Beaver Meadow golf, left on 2nd Street to end, fork left and park in the main parking lot. We will be casting to the right.

Note: Check the main parking lot at Sewalls Falls Recreational Area before continuing to the alternate location in case the banks are accomodating for the group to get in and cast.

Lunch will be provided, cold cuts, rolls, salads, etc. There will be a collection jar to put a few dollars in for the convenience, or bring your own lunch. Please bring your own drinks if you don't want water. Water will be provided.

If you care to share some snacks with the group, by all means bring them along.

Topher and I look forward to the second annual Nor'Easter Spey Clave with all who attend!
