Hook from Byron Bjerke, a 4/0 Philips Jones, the profile of which i think really suits this fly.
Working my way up to a Nicholson, probably on the same hook, give the proportions and body make up are similar (multi jointed, with hackles)
Might get that one started this week.
But for now, the Niagara, from Kelson. Tied in one sitting, about 5-6 hours or so. With the head one view, you can see the tail is forked.
