To all enthusiastic spey casters

I have just completed updating the RIO line recommendation for a bunch of spey rods. I realise there are many rods not on the list and I am trying to get my act together to add the missing ones, but the list is growing. The 2005 recommendations also have the correct skagit line for each rod, which cheater to use, as well as the Scandianavian head, WindCutter, MidSpey and GrandSpey lines. The new Loomis, Sage, Redington, Winston and Scott spey rods are on there, as well as a bunch of the Bob Meiser rods that Bob helped me tune.

Hope this helps a few.

Cheers

Simon,

I went into this the other day to check on a line recommendation for an old Daiwa, which wasn't there but which you were kind enough to recommend by email. Impressive work and without comparison as far as I'm aware.

Regards

Steven
