Does anyone know what the current listed grain weights are for the newest models(the non stretch core,2 tone ones) of the Airflow Delta and Long Delta lines?

I have heard that some models have been changed this year, but am looking for verification on that.I haven't seen any info posted on thier website regarding this.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply MJC.

Would you happen to know the most recentely listed weights for these lines,in particular the 7/8,8/9,and 9/10 sizes in the Delta and Long Delta?

Thanks

Thanks a bunch everyone.

I see that they have indeed increased the weight on some of the lines, especially the heavier line weights.I was kind of afraid of that.

It turns out I recently purchased a new non stretch core model 9/10 Multi Tip line and had planned on using it on my LOOP Yellow 9132 for big waters where a longer belly line might be a nice break from stripping.I'm still a "B level" caster so I figured the 9/10 would be a bit better for me than the 8/9 at first.Of course that was when the 8/9 was 630 grains and the 9/10 was more like 670 or 690.Now that it's been bumped up to 720,I'm wondering if it might be a bit much for my rod.

I know plenty of guys use the RIO Midspey in the 9/10 for the 9140 Yellow, which is similar in weight to the new Long Delta 9/10,but I don't know how this line would be on the 9132 Yellow.

Airflo made a 10/11 Long Delta prior to Fall of 2006. I believe, much to my sadness it has been discontinued,

Rio's "A" rating for both the 9140 and 9132 yellow is the 7/8 mid-spey at 560 grains, which is very similar to the delta long 7/8 in wgt. The "B" rating is the 8/9 midspey at 640 grains, which is the same as the 8/9 delta long.

I agree with these ratings after having fished the 9140 yellow for quite a few years with a whole bunch of different lines. It will cast the 9 wgt, particularly with a skagit-type style, but for an underhand style you'll be happier with a lighter line.

What is the core breaking strain on the Delta short 10/11?

Does the packaging give any indication of whether a line is 2006 or 2007?
