I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for needles for splicing T-14 to floating line. I just picked up some beading needles size 10-13. Pretty much a nightmare. They bend too easily, and one just broke at the eye as I was drawing the dental floss through the floating line. and it was goretex floss too!

Anyhoo, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Forget the needles and get some guitar string (metal) the thinnest one bent over eliminates the need for floss and a needle.
Although you will want to use a bodkin needle to open up the line first so that the bent over wire is easier to thread thru the line, I use a sewing machine needle in a pin vise for the opening part.
