I have been using a smaller Nautilus in the salt for almost a year now and they are fantastic reels. Ran into a slight problem with mine (fixed in later versions) which meant I had to send the reel back to Florida to be repaired.
Awesome customer service. They replaced the defunct part and sent it back to the UK in no time at all.
I have been using Nautilus No.10 for salt water fishing and with light spey rod ( 100 yards of #30 Dacron + 6/7 Rio MidSpey as Salmon indicated last year).
The reel has been wet many times and works flawlessly.
Thanks for the tip.
