on October 21st my husband - Chris Winkler, known as the 'local legend' to his friends - caught a 24 lb 8 oz Coho fully dressed out (gills and guts removed).
I figure the fish should weigh at least 26 lbs.
He caught it using a 14 ft 10 wt Daiwa Whisker, 15 lb leader and a 25 ft fast sinking shooting head.
I am curious to hear if anyone knows of a Coho this size caught on a flyrod in a river in Canada?
