I know that bridge rather well because I had relatives living in the area and often visited them during the summer when I live in the Hazleton, PA area. Since I left PA in 1978, that was a lot of years ago. Even back then there would be a lot of these large mayflies (Hexagenia) hatching after dark and hanging around the lights on the bridge. The river at that point is about a mile wide. Good to see the river is getting cleaner and healthier as evidenced by all these large mayflies.
