Had this reel for sale on classifieds for a minute.sorry. Bought it recently and was kinda surprised at first glance how small it looked(disappointed) cuz I was thinking no way will it hold any line.3"1/2 x1"1/8 true ID spool gap, not small in inches, but in hand it's seems tiny. Searched for any info about it online and there wasn't much. So I bought it anyway. It's a problem I have.It is really compact, skinny and light. But it has a solid gear, plenty loud and a palmable spool. Still worried about line capacity. So I was thinking maybe pairing it with a 3or 5wt. SH rod Because of its size. Since I have too many of those combos already, i Decided to see how much line this little sucker could take. So I flipped the line from another reel of mine that was way overloaded(new school super L arbor5# reel and found out this little martin kicked its arse in line capacity. The little martin took bout 60 plus yards of 20# backing and a 95' of WF7, and it has plenty of room left on the spool, bout 5/8" x1"1/8.it won't retrieve uber fast on half full spool, but oh well. The retrieve is reversible.it Doesn't have the strongest drag , but the spool is palmable and the looks are growing on me, I'm thinking 5/6 switchee, thanks to the member who suggested it. Glad I checked the numbers. She's a keeper.

I'm the one that commented, I have a few of the wide spools and I have fit on a 425 gr Skagit, running line and enough backing to do the job. As far as ripping up the gears... I have caught VERY large Kenai rainbows on mine as well as countless coho, pinks, chums, and sockeye on mine. The "drag" is incredibly weak but that's why there is a rim right? I prefer a light clicker anyways... I say put it on a switch rod and FISH IT! It's a good little reel
