This was wonderful day, as Marlow intended there was a full spectrum of casters in attendence. There were the legends of the sport, those who were part of the Renaissance of the Speyrod, as well as youngsters eager to learn the basics and a whole slew of those in between.
The casting competition was suitably low key, very much a fun affair, there were even competitors who had never cast a speyrod before!
There were lots of rods on Speybum's demo rack and the longline guys wandered over into the tall grass to fire casts towards and occasionally into the trees. All in all a great time was had by everyone.
Thankyou Marlow - I will not miss this event next year! :smokin:
Could this be the next Spey Legend in training?
