It was a sneaky raise Jim. No rain,,, clear warm night.....but lots of snow in the highlands.
It started to raise early in the am and guys could cross,,, but couldn't get back on the same route as it climbed higher. You met Brett and Matt and Philip on Friday night. Philip tried to cross at Cemetery and was swept in,,,face first and was a lucky bastard for sure.
They thought it had dropped,, but it came up!!!
On a personal note dude i don't know if i've ever spent 9 days with a finer gent..... and i must say i certainly had a great time with you,, both on the river,, at camp or wherever. I consider you a brother from a different mother.........as i do you Mikey!!!!!!!! It was an honour to share the Ree with you guys.....and that day at Cemetery will go down as one of the coolest days in my salmon angling career!!!
Stay in touch Jimmy Skids.... I love ya man!!!!!!
And yes,,,,,,,, You are a Magnificent Bastard!!!!!!
