I posted this in the Classifides but since I am not sure what percetage of Spey Clave users visit the Classifides, I figured it would benefit any members looking for a good all around Spey rod by posting it on the Spey Clave as well.
I have a Sage 9140-4 that will become obsulete within my collection pretty soon...might as well turn this rod into a rod that I will use.
I bought this rod on the advise of Doublespey and when properly lined, it is a wonderful rod to fish and cast...especially for the beginer.
It is in excellent shape and if the offer is high enough, I will throw in a Sage Guideline Spey Carrying Case (to carry around the rod with the reel still attached).
Hell...if it is a really nice offer, I'll even throw in a Hardy Viscount Click with an 8/9/10 WC w/ tips.
