Props to Beulah for making a great rod at a resonable price. I just got back from a trip to BC and had some concerns about hooking into large steelhead (if I got lucky) on a 7wt 13'2" Platinum, but James for Beulah said should be no problem. I had no issues throwing big intruder flies on a Skagit Rio iFlight 475 and 10"sink tips, and had no problems landing fish up to 40+ inches (perhaps I'll get a big one next year). At the same time the light rod made 4 days of casting managable. Thanks Beulah!

No doubt about it, that 7132 is a gem. I really liked a 450 scandi, 480 rage, and delta 7/8 on mine

475 iflight

Glad to hear the 475 is a great fit for this rod. I just spooled up the exact same line to use with 10' of t-11 to fish intruders. Thanks for the post!
