I'm thinking about buying a new Loop greyline 12' or 13'.
Was advices to use Custom 2 with it.
Will 12' class 8 be enough hold occasionaly tubes from 2.5 to 5 cm (1-2") with #2, #4 or #6 hooks in brass or aluminium if needed? if not 1/4" tubes?
Will 13' class 9 hold this staff?
Thank you in advance for your input.

Hi Maxnik,

I have both rods. Both rods have their own character whereby the 13 foot rod is more strength and powerful.
I asked myself the same question  and now I have both rods. If I only have to kept one Rod, I would take the 12 foot #8.
But for your heavy tubes is the 13 foot the better choice !!!!
The new loop Custom 2 is a line for small flies, :tsk_tsk: please considers this. The line makes this job completely outstanding.

The loop Adapted is well, simple and O.K. The new loop Custom are also good and more flexible. You can cut it, like you prefer it. I have also very good experience with the VISION ACE sinktip, very fine line! Very popolaer in Scandinavia.
