I had an opportunity to cast briefly wt.4 11’ Loop Grey (overhead and single spey). The butt section has plenty of backbone, which normally you would find in wt.6-7 rod single-hand rod.
She is very light, easy to cast and has typical for LoopGrey Line deeper load feeling and fast recovery.
I have used SA XXD Maximum Distance &Delivery Taper line ( 61’ head) wt.5
I think wt. 5 fly line fits this rod much better then wt.4.
