Loop

I have the same rod in a 6 piece, and love it for King fishing.--I will be taking it in my luggage to the Alutions in 3 weeks, and am excited to put it to work again.
My preference is an Airflow Skagit Compact 600---I can't tell you about the curve etc, only that it is a cannon to reach the BIG BOYS in mid-stream

I've spent some time with this rod and I really enjoyed it. I was using a Scandi head around 520 if I recall and it really flew. What I like about this line of rods is how quickly the rod dampens down following the forward cast. When you've got a fish on, I find you can really feel it, especially in comparison to other medium/fast, fast graphite rods. I've got a 7120 which I use 90% of the time around here. If you're considering this rod for Taimen/similar large fish I could see it being a very good fit
