Hi to all from a first time poster!

I am thinking of a smaller rod and have heard that the loop black line 12'4" 8/9 is a solid rod. I usually fish more traditional rods with my arsenal of 8150 and 9140 sage's.

Any thoughts anyone can give on this rod and their experiences would be much appreciated.
Thanks and wishes for good water and many hookups!

I can recommend it. It is hard to find a better rod with more value for the bucks than the Blackline. It has a medium/fast action but is slow enough to make casting really easy. It is nice to run fish on. Casting is as usual highly dependent on the fit of line to run. In my experience the Loop adapted for 12,4´might be a bit too light. On the other side I did not use their tips. A 90-100 feet underhandcast is not too hard with this rod.

I had the 1208 yellow line and have the 1208 green line. Cannot say enough about these rods. The rod itself did more for my casting than all the lessons put together. Really sweet stuff.
