It is a pretty stiff, powerful, fast recovering rod with a progressive flex down the blank as you add more power to your cast. It is avery nice caster with any of the 10/11 mid-belly lines, the 10/11/12 Windcutter, the 10/11 XLT or the 9/10 GrandSpey. It is my third favorite 15 ft rod, with the T&T 1510 most favorite and T&T 1511 second favorite.
If you like a fairly stiff (although it is just a bit less stiff than the 13' 8/9 GLX), fast-action, powerful, fast recovering rod, you will like it. If you like a more moderately stiff, medium-action, fast recovery, powerful rod, you may not like it. And if you like a moderately stiff, medium to slow action, powerful, medium or slow recovering rod, you most likely will not like it.
