I'm behind the curve on getting ready for the Spey Clave at Oxbow. I just recently found out they do reservations only to find out all the camp sites are booked.

Wanted to see if anyone would be willing to let me crash at their Camp site in Oxbow Friday and Saturday night. I have a camper shell and am planning just to sleep in that, so I wont have any extra stuff lying around. I can spit sight fees or cook for those willing to have me!

Rick J, I have room in my campsite. I will only have me and my truck with camper. Would welcome company. Splitting fees sounds great. I have a site for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Send me a PM and we can connect.

Speywannabe - sounds great and thanks but I am finally on my retirement venture north after a medical hitch in the plans requiring surgery – in recovery now and I am living in a 32' trailer that I will be driving north with my first stop for the Clave - my first trip to the Clave since the very first two.
Have a spot at TP close to Oxbow – a friend from Redding will be following me to also attend the Clave and stay with me.
I plan to continue north on the 16th heading to Forks where I will leave my trailer through June while I am doing final follow up with my doctors down at UCSF plus am heading to Tarpon Cay Lodge in the Yucatan with my brother for 10 days in mid June. Then plan heading east into Idaho Montana chasing trout
But looking forward to meeting you – do stop by the TU Wild Steelhead Initiative Booth and make it a point to listen to John McMillan’s talk Fri night – truly an amazing guy

Best,
Rick

I am totally open now that I am retired. My favorite fishery is Silver Creek - been going there for over 30 years. Henry's Fork is an all time second but has fallen on hard times - does sound like it is recovering so will for sure be up in the Sun Valley and West Yellowstone area - back to the Clearwater and Snake and Grande Ronde in the fall. But want to do some exploring rather than going to the same locations now that I am not time limited so will keep in touch..
Check your PMs

You could probably find a spot at Dodge Park or Dabney Park if you don't mind commuting a few miles the day-of the event.

Don't know if it could help, but...

I have a campsite at Oxbow for the F,S,Su of Spey Clave. I scoped it out today and determined my RV is too tight a fit. I will need to cancel, but before I do, I thought I would let spey brothers and sisters know in case there is a means for someone to make good use of my bad luck.
I won't act on the cancellation until Monday. PM me with a workable strategy and I'll help all I can (btw, yes, I'll still attend :) )
