I'm involved with a restoration effort for another King, the Atlantic salmon. But I'm equally concerned with the Pacific King. Thought I'd share this video I came across.

Thanks for sharing. I have always felt that we needed to have a fundamental shift in mentality regarding salmon. I remember asking a fellow how the fishing was in Winter Harbour and he replied "so far we have 600 pounds between the 4 of of us."

As for size getting smaller, when the top genetic pool is removed, you have genetic dwarf-ism. It takes several breeds to climb back from where you left of, or maybe never.

I posted a pic on this site years ago showing the fish size pre and post genetic drawf-ism. Can't find it, and maybe someone can. Anyway, big size difference.
