I have an 11'0" A3 Model Scott 8 weight. It is in mint condition and someone in my fly tying club has an interest in buying the rod which I am considering selling...since I no longer have need of it.

I haven't a clue what it may be worth...any thoughts out there? Please note I want to be reasonably fair for both him and me.

Thanks in advance!!!!

If you look at prices on the auction site of completed auctions for Scott spey and switch rods you see prices between 300-400 dollars - with about half of them getting closer to the 400 dollar range. This is for more recent models like the T3H or sought-\after classics like the ARC... I think for an A3 in mint condition I wouldn't ask more than 350, since you're not shipping it or paying fees, maybe in the 250 to 325 range would make sense , but that's just me. Other's may have a more informed opinion...
