hi,
any recomendation in line for my sage 9141-4 , i heard the new loop quatro is nice .but what line rating for this rod.

Don't have any experience with the loop lines but if my memory serves me right the 8/9 midspey with tips is pretty nice on this rod. Lots of power in this rod!!!! For floating line work you could move up to some of the 9/10 lines, there are many that would work well. Have not spent a great deal of time with this rod but do remmember it putting a big old grin on my face as it was fun to cast.

Sea Run, try the Loop Custom11 and you can cut the shooting head to suit your style of casting, also do some research before you buy a line for that rod, i have found that it pays off in a big way.
PS: I have the same set up and it is plusure to play with all day good luck.
