Greetings, All:
Need a line recommendation for a Lamiglas LS 1358 8/9. This is the older 4-piece "Traditional" model with a moderate action and a full flex design (slower taper and relatively stout tip section).
I plan to use the rod for a "small stream winter rod" (East Fork Lewis, Kalama, Washougal). I need to buy (or build) a winter line for tips.
I am considering using a Cortland 8/9 Spey DT as the basis to build a winter tip line. Or should I use a Windcutter 7/8/9 as the line to build with?
I looked at Mr. Teeples test of this rod and his comments on lines from a while back. Since there are so many new lines on the market of late, I wanted to get any additional line recommendations for this rod before I begin this adventure.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Best Regards,
HydroGeo
