Last Saturday was the fund raising event to support the conservation and educational efforts on Kennedy Creek.

A very enjoyable evening stuffing ones self with clams and mussels, appetizers including fresh figs with cheese and walnuts, beer, wine and topped off with ice cream, brownies and cupcakes. The food and beverages were served on the overlooks on Kennedy Creek. What a way to spend an evening in a pristine forest eating, drinking and listening to Celtic music.

The event supports maintaining the trails and overlooks along Kennedy Creek, as well as the educational efforts with the local schools.

Next year I will post the information here on Spay Pages. This was my second year and I am looking forward to next year.

Kennedy Creek is about 10 minutes out of Olympia, WA off Hwy 101.
