I don't post much on here, but I stop by every evening. Here are some flies I've been practicing with. All hooks were the cheapest salmon hooks I could find on the web and shanks are hair pins

Those are really nice !!
That olive grizzly wing one has got to produce on any river , coast to coast :smokin:
But they all are fish catchers in my opinion .

Anyone have any ideas on how to keep shank style flies organized? I've been throwing them in a Baggie and they get all tangled up.

With flies where the trailing loop is long enough to get the hook on and off... I take the hook off the loop, put the hook through the eye of the shank and put them in your everday slit-foam style box.

Really like the CDC on the muddler very your own style kind of thing! Your hook your fly love the style.
